Many of our competitors utilize an alcohol, or acid-cured finish. While those finishes are okay, although we find their more smelly, cheaper finish a deterrent to the longevity of your floors, Gehrke’s Hardwood Flooring always suggests the more durable, long-life of water-based finishes as a better option when considering the right hardwood flooring to enhance your space.
